Playstation and dvd

Post by Danrowland » Fri Jul 15, 2011 8:10 pm

I know this is a bit silly as cars are there to be driven but mine has playstation and a Veba single DVD player under the boot floor.

I would like to relocate them to the cage in the left hand boot compartment where the cd changer is. There is almost enough room for both except the cage isn't quite deep enough. The recess is big enough but the back of the cage gets in the way.

Don't suppose any of you have hack sawed any of the cage off to make room for such silliness have you?

Or have a better place to relocate? Can't use the rear armrest as the baby seat is in the way.

Feel free to slate me for using it for something other than driving; my excuse is I have a little one who would enjoy it on long journeys.

Thankyouplease!

Under the passenger seat or replace the tools section in the spare wheel void. I've seen a Playstation installed in there before. Innit.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Mine has a playstation and CD changer in the left hand compartment in the boot,
only just mind, they have hacked away a slight amount from the cover.
was in prior to me purchasing.

Thanks guys.

Bam- yeah dey iz like installed under the floor in da boot innit. Ha. Yes it is a bit chavvy :)

Xs- when you say the cover was chopped do you mean the trim lid bit that unclips? Not the cage or the ps cover?

They fit and work well directly under the lift up bit of the boot floor and are used so rarely that it doesn't matter that much but I know the next time someone will want to use them the boot will be full. That why I thought the left hand compartment might be easier.

Anyways thanks. I might chop the steel cage a bit in the compartment to fit them in there.

Cheese.
