Convoy from the South - RS 4 Gathering

South Mimms Services Junction 23 M25. This is the junction for the A1(M)

(South Mimms, SOUTH MIMMS, Hertfordshire GN6 3QQ)

The reason for meeting here, is so we can have a number of V8's rumble through the newly refurbished Hatfield Tunnel (0.75 miles)

How about we meet the Midland lot on the A1 at Grantham ?

alrighrt fella,like pad i have booked a room for sunday night...looking like we will have to meet at south mimms[A1m] between 6 and 7 sunday morning...the one good thing being the roads will be well clear at that time,and should be a more enjoyable drive

Grantham is about 2 hrs from York so guess you Southerners will be at Grantham about 9.30 - 10am?

No way will it take you that long to get there. I can get from Pilgrim Street in central London to home in Tynemouth in 4.5 hours in a Seat Ibiza 1.4 TDi. I would guestimate 4.5 hours to Malton max from South Mimms, more likely 3.5 as it normally takes me an hour to get out of central London to South Mimms
