hi guys thought I would get a better response in this section.
Have the B7 front brake setup fitted on my B5. I need to change the front pads, what pads do you guys recommend?
Pads for B7 front brakes?
Re: Pads for B7 front brakes?
DS2500s however there only for the front and dont have wear sensors.
EBC yellow stuff are cheaper, come with wear sensors and you can buy front and rears for the price of the DS2500 (£270) however there not the greatest of pads, but will be fine for fast road use imo. As a slighty thicker grain that the OEMs you will get less break dust.
If you do buy some race pads, save the shims from the oem set, this will stop them squealing.

Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

I dont track the car, so standard oem pads probably best for me?

hi the ones mentioned above..pagid are very good
Re: Pads for B7 front brakes?
I have had the Pagids fitted recently, seem very good for me, but i do not track the car. And a lot lot cheaper than Audis originals !!!
Re: Pads for B7 front brakes?
The yellow stuff are a straight swap, produce much less brake dust, stopped the disc vibration I was developing and are substantially better than OEM for the road - I don't track the RS4 where the Ferodo seem to be very popular.
Just have to be a little alert until they have warmed up
