Hi sonny

Seats look brilliant....CG lock is the next best thing to proper harnesses, bit fiddly at 1st but great piece of kit....

Just back from a weeks holiday and will pm you an update on wheels....loving the LeMans graphics and might be tempted to join you next year for the trip down!

Short write up. Some of you know I have just been to Le Man for the weekend (was a great weekend and will post pics soon), I took the RS4 down there with the new Pole positions in. I was expecting a really tough journey and same serious manning up was going to be needed. Just completed the 700 mile round trip and I must say I am very surprised. The pole positions was very comfortable, More comfortable than the OEM buckets I had. On the return leg I only stopped off once for fuel, so that's saying saying something. I had no stiffness, no aches at all So thumbs up for the Recaro pole positions.

Cheers for the invite DK.... I'll have to see nearer the time.. finances/commitments allowing etc.
Sounds good.

Ps. Now you've gotten rid of the BFG (no not the Big Friendly Giant but the Big Fat Gay bastard)... will you be bringing along the new RS banana-car or the S4 to future meets?

Hi Sonny,

I am also looking at getting some 18" OZ racing rims for my RS4. I see there are plenty of 18x8, but would prefer 18x9 to take bigger tyres.

Have you any advice on offset/width/tyre size? I I am keen to fit a dunlop direzza 03G, or Advan A048 semi slick.

Im running 18x9 all round, with 255/40/18s, this will keep the same rolling circumference. However, I have a set of part worn R888 255/30/18s to go on, this means im 7% out (speed 100kmh will be 93kph) again this is only for the track and not day to day use. Spigot rings will need to be used. I will use A048 next.

P_G nope not those, as they dont do the correct size or the RS4.

CG Locks are fantastic for those wanting to feel more secure in the car. Also help with back aches, as the device holds your lower back much better in the seat.
B5 S4 Saloon Widebody Track Car.
B5 RS4 - now sold.
