Disc Skimming

Post by Terry1948 » Fri May 27, 2011 8:26 pm

Have been suffering from crap Juddering brakes for ages and at last decided to get them sorted nearly bought new discs but gave Marcus at discskimmers a ring and he arrived this afternoon and got to work drilled them out and skimmed them on the car. Fantasic job the car is again a pleasure to drive. No juddering and stops in a straight line no more squirming. The best part of course is that I saved a shed load of money. :jump:

IIRC it is only 0.1 or 0.2mm taken off sao can be down to 32.5mm

My skimmer said on these discs they could be done a maximum of five times dependent on wear rate.
