Major service at main dealer..

Hi all,

I recently booked my car in for a major service (40k miles) at main dealers. The rep quoted £514.00 over the phone and out of interest, I asked what work would be carried out. She said this would include oil and filter change "including the oil", air filter change, pollen filter change, and bodywork inspection, screenwash refill. The dealer PC screen had apparantly frozen up so the lady was going by memory.
This doesn't sound much work for the price and I'm just wondering if there are any other consumables?

Otherwise I'm considering getting a quote from a local specialist as I begrudge paying for the privilege of my car being tinkered with in a glitzy garage..

My car is also at 45k and having its 1 year service

Its getting the ROc Chorley treatment down Camberley Audi for 415 with a free MOT...I still consider this steep so would also like to know what is included in the service but then again I completely trust the team down there so if this is what I have to pay then this is what I have to pay

For £514.00 service you should be getting

Oil Change
Oil Filter change
Air Filter change
Pollen Filter Change
Spark Plug Change
??Fuel Filter Change??

plus all the usuals inspections etc.

The spark plugs are only changed at 60k.
