Great day and given a fair proportion of the UK population were on holiday anyway with kids etc then all we got was an extra days annual leave this year which in some instances will replace a 'sick day' . So the overall cost to the UK economy is morel likel;y zero and benefitted us as a Nation.

Was not going to watch it and yes I have to admit to being a monarchist at heart ... Mrs D watched it while I was playing an an online FPS game .. yes she called me down to see "the dress", "the vows", "the kiss", "the fly by" and yes I paused the game and went to watch each event .. I felt Proud to be British on all on them (especially the RAF fly past, which caused me to get something in my eye to make it water)

Wish them both the best ..

And to all the "it cost us X Pounds" .. it didn't ..our Economy took a major cash injection with it...

If we want to worry about costs to the country .. get us out of Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya etc
