Apologies if this subject has already been covered , but thought i would post just in case , as i got this info from Audi Camberley yesterdy whilst enquiring about my warranty renewal.
I have been debating whether to renew my Audi 'named component' warranty which runs out in Aug 2011 (3 rd yr of renewing) as i thought this had gone up from £1650 to £2650 . I do think these warranties are gold dust and the fact i have probably had about 20k worth of warrantly work done on it over the last 18month its a no brainer...but.....The renewal process has now changed as the work is being done in house by Audi now rathen than underwritten by Mondial (i think).
The Warranty renewal process is as follows
Options 1
Amaziingly , You can actually upgrade you existing 'Named Component' cover to a 'Fully Comprehensive' cover with differing excess options
a) £2466 - No Excess
b) £2004 - £100 Excess per claim
c) £1531 - £250 Excess

Option 2 ( Renewing my existing named component warranty incl roadside assitance)
a) 1800 - No Excess
b) 1531 - £100
c) 1176 - £250
Overall, i am really pleased by the above options as it makes the whole process more cost effective and i think probably less hassle than having to use other warrantry companies out there! Considering i was going to pay £2650 to renew, i now have more palatable options to consider but DYOR..This is all IMHO etc!
I am considering keeping the beast for that little bit longer now!

If you want more info it on www.audiextendedwarranty.co.uk or call 0845 641 9708 for quote but DYOR..This is all IMHO etc!
Good luck
Ross
