We read from left to right, so it's more logical to read the poster's name first, then what they have to say.

Dealing with minor points now but I think the stickys would look better if they were separated from normal threads in much the same way as the announcements currently are.

This. I like.
However, I still prefer the profiles on the left, if I couldn't have that then I'd like the poster’s name to stand out more (such as different colour or increased font size). I see no point of the post subject to have such prominence, it's over bearing and mostly irrelevant.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Fair point bam_bam, but for now I'd like to work on some other items. Appreciate the feedback.

Might be difficult, so I'm thinking that it might just be easier to have a differentiating icon.

It was all for you Mooch :) You had me worried with the eyes thing. It does make me wonder why phpBB still ship it when this is a known issue http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 13&start=0

The b5 is still there and working like a charm. Brings a smile every time I use it and now has the B7 front brakes thanks to Unit 20 :)

May tweak the colours in time, but plenty more jobs to do here first.

Agreed that the new posts needs some spacing, but another one for another time.

Had a bit of a crisis today... Seems people have the forum bookmarked and when they visited the new forum they though the rest of the site had disappeared. Anyway, I hope the new menu at the top fo the forum helps people to find the non-forum content (rsHomePage | rsDownloads | rsGallery | rsClassifieds).
