COMING TO END OF EXTENDED WARRANTY

Post by SimonG » Thu Mar 03, 2011 9:58 am

HI all, my warranty runs out next month and I wanted to ask if anyone had put their car in for an 'end of warranty check'. If so how best to approach (I assume you cannot say find something wrong and fix it) and what I should ask for to be checked.
Rads,Exhaust valves,DRC(has been replaced),coils. What else?
Thanks in advance

I am in the same situation! my warranty runs out mid april so i am getting a mate who has a garage to give the car a good checkover before i put it in for audi service and for them to check if it requires any warranty work.

My local Audi dealer offers a free health check at any time, I suppose the idea behind it being they are hoping to find something they can charge for, either the customer or warranty company.I took mine in for an early mot and healthcheck before my warranty ran out and got a new power steering pump replaced.
