S3 2008 buckets seats & door cards

Post by heathred » Sat Feb 19, 2011 6:26 pm

Hi All,

Just bought a 2008 S3 and found out that the original seats and door cards have been replaced.

Does anyone know of any original leather / half leather seats and door cards for sale or of any good suppliers / breakers for Audi parts?

Thanks All.

OP are you sure it hasn't got an Audi Exclusive leather and is actually worth keeping?

Can you post a pic of what you have in the car now?

The car has had the original S3 seats taken out and I need some replacement leather bucket seats to bring back upto spec.

Hopefully I've attached a pic of the current front seats correctly. Seems some pikey has taken the proper seats out.

FYI the buckets are an option. Afaik the normal S3 seats are like the s-line seats.

What do Audi charge for a pair of std or option seats for it?

I remember when I owned my Leon Cupra R that the optional Recaro fronts came in at about £2k IIRC new as spare parts.

stolen recovered?

wouldnt put me off if i saw the car like this.

happens all the time, stolen on the key and turns up mint with just a couple of bits missing.

good way to grab a bargain as long as you know what was wrong with it in the first place.

At the moment, buckets are a £2400 option iirc.

They are pretty much the same but the boggo s3 ones have electric lumbar support and s-lines dont.
Also some of the bogo s3 seats have a different design with circles imprinted into the leather
Like these i had fitted in the girlfriends a3,buckets look miles better, but are going for mad money when they do come up

Electric lumbar is an option

Standard S3 has dimpled leather centres.
