TPMS antenna fault epidemic..

Is it easy to remove that honeycomb panel in the rear valance?? I'm planning to fit a removable tow bar to my car in the summer - not for a caravan I'll hastilly add!! I know i'll have to sympathetically modify the rear valance, but if the honecomb pannel is easilly removable I recon i'll get away with less cutting??

Yes it is, just pop a few of the tabs loose and it soon comes off, I don't even think you need any tools to undo anything else (as I did), nor do you need a rampIs it easy to remove that honeycomb panel in the rear valance?? Neckarsulm, omg it was a good job I had a quick look on the forum today, was jsut about to start takeing the rear bumper off! Wow, that looks a lot easier! Dont know what todo now though as changeing that unit hasnt been succsesful for you, hmmmmm. Any luck yet?

Interesting thread. My TPMS has failed this weekend on my OEM wheels. I'll take a look at the attenna under the bumper before getting each sensor looked at.
