Picked up the Cabby today!

Well its seems like its been a long week waiting for Sunday to come!

Drove the 90 miles across to Doncaster to pick up my new motor.

Just 12k on the clock, every extra so it seems and bucket seats that i wanted.

Been too much traffic to open her up too much but pretty happy at the RS4 experience so far.

Bring on the sunny days so the roof can come down and i can hear that V8 properly.

well done Macdaddio

btw ... you DONT need a sunny day, or a warm day ... just a dry day (and as I found out the other day, not gale force winds when on the motorway)

get the top down at every opportunity ... with the seat heaters and blowers the cabin gets VERY warm even when its 1degree outside

get a milltek and you'll know where im coming from !!

Milltek is certainly on the cards,

Trust me as soon as it stops raining that roof will be down lol.

Nice car!
I have a wind deflector, it just stays in place behind the front seats folded flat most of the time. I still havent tried the car without the deflector, but I know it made a massive difference on a mates old MGF.

Wind deflector is a good investment, even if just to finish off the look when the roof is down.

wind deflector was surely included with the car !! you bought from a main dealer ?

they're often on pistonheads classifieds or ebay ... £50 - £100 ... Audi OEM is the only one

make a big difference at higher speeds

can comfortably cruise at 100kelptons with no cabin wind, unless its a really windy day as we've had recently

Nice one fella, there is a wind deflector on ebay at the moment.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Audi-A4-S4-RS4-Ca ... 20b6e03d18

54 min left and 10 bids. Not sue if it just may be cheaper to buy from a dealer, at least it will be new.
