And Tracker won't tell you how many cars fitted with one DON'T get recovered only how many do - so you can't work out IF they actually improve the chance of recovery.

Waste of time and money IMHO.

Good price, where did you get it from?

If it uses gps and gsm then dont rely on it. It's trivial to jam (20 quid from eBay) and you need to confirm how it reacts under those circumstances.

Same as above really. If I were a professional car theif I'd assume some form of tracking/immobiliser was in place. 20 quid gets you a hammer that fecks up both gps and gsm with a 5-10m area. Nick car then have a look about at leisure (most systems have at most 24hr internal battery and ironically the jamming makes them work harder and reduce charge faster). Tracker is a competitor to me on tracking but they are the only ones that have an active method of punching through jamming using many (and I mean many) different VHF frequencies making jamming alot harder.

End of the day though none of them actually stop the car being nicked.
The blackjack lojack is good - has an RFID card you keep with you and allows the car to start and drive a short while before cutting out when the car next stops
