What are your plans for 2011

Post by sonny » Sun Dec 26, 2010 1:22 pm

So Gents 2010 is nearly at a close, and what a year it was.

So, what are the plans for your RS4 in 2011, any modification, service, retro fitting any option?

For me its,

Fit GruppeM induction system
Fit DS2500 break pads

Replace

Front windscreen
Shortshift with OEM shift
New tyres all round (F1s)

Im still toying with the idea of a set of 18'' track rims with R888s. :?

This thread should throw up some interesting replys!
For me my intentions are:
Fit the won progressive nos kit
Stern upper and lower control arms
Hotchis rear sway bar
Jhm l/w rear discs
And hopefully run high 11's pre nos and very low 11's on nos
Believe it or not then most likely sell and find a new project

In the spring, definite plan is to take her to MRC for the following:

1) Full Milltek exhaust system with the free flow down pipe (100 cell cats) and OEM exhaust ends.
2) The usual manifold job.
3) Remap.
4) At some point, when tyres (pzeros) need changing, think I'll go for F1's

Like the idea of having a better suspension, like KWV3 or something, but don't track her so not sure if its worth it.

1. Milltek non-res valved cat-back (Q1 2011);

2. Change air filter as soon as possible (Jan 2011);

3. New set of wiper blades (Jan 2011).
2007 RS4 Avant in Mugello Blue + Milltek non-res valved, MRC air filter, MRC remap with silent-mode startup

Get the fecking EPC light to stay off!

Oh and some new wheels, maybe 20",
And it's about time for a professional detailing waxing etc. to get the shine back into the pearlescent black :)

Try and get it in for a service, brake fluid change and pollen filter change prior to its visit to mrc on the 4th jan

Fit the no cat downpipes in the next week or so

Take it down to mrc to get dougs latest spec

Maybe take the ps2 rears off a little early 3+mm and fit the new ones i have waiting

H&R arbs are on the list when the weather clears up

Look at the squeek thats just started on the drivers seat and is incredibly annoying

Give it a full detail, hopefully no correction needed

Get drc sorted osf has been knocking for ages and nsf on occasion so hopefully get both sorted shortly
