My personal theory is that he rate of CB is largely due to the airflow rate and volume through the engine. i.e. if stop start and low speeds with high temps there is little airflow to 'blow' the oil that could vapourise on the valves and IM into the cyclonic separators. Taking it for a good long high speed run and using the full rev range on a regular / daily basis slow the process of accumulation. It a known byproduct of the FSI technology patent so in a way unavoidable but perhaps can be slowed. Or maybe I'm just lucky...

Stop start traffic, thrashing it within an inch of its life after the oil temp gauge hits 60 and then switching off and not using for a week of more surely would be a sure fire way to allow what oil is the in valves / manifold to bake on in carbon form?

Anyway, enough about the CB debate, back to MRC magic!

What's the point in buying an RS4 unless you drive it in the spirit in which it was designed!

His opinion has been somewhat shot out down with my dyno results this last week. Mine should be a good bit slower by now.
