Thanks MRC - Todays health-check and Dyno Figures

Post by steve_70 » Sat Dec 11, 2010 5:00 pm

Hi all,

I am sure these guys need no introduction :D

I had the B7 RS4 Avant booked in this morning with MRC for a health check and dyno run (Thanks Shagga/Shane 8)) as I wanted piece of mind; having picked it uponly last week and also toget an appraisal of the overall condition and feel of it as I guess these guys have seen quite a few so know the good from the not so good or tired ones.

Seems I have a very good example, all healthy, no errors from healthchecks and makes good strong figures (see below) 8)

Can't recommend these guys enough now and big thanks to Doug. First impressions as a new customer very good and would definitely go back and have my repeat business. Good clean/professional appearance of workshop, waiting area, tv and think was an Xbox there also, plus nice clean kitchen area for making your own teas/cofees 8)

Gets my votes :thumb:

So now the figures....

388ps @ the wheels @247 km/h + 424Nm @ 3245 RPM

Cant grumble at those, considering the losses after the flywheel 8)

Thanks again MRC :thumb:

Max our Boxer @ MRC :D

Very good figures for a stock car,it would sit amongst the top few in the group rr that was done on here many moons ago,it made more than mine did before its tuning work and that was with a full milltek system on aswell

Good figures - about 20ps more than mine :( . However, I am booked in next week for some MRC magic so we'll see what I end up with.

MRC's reception also has wifi which is useful if waiting for the work to be done.

I believe the corrected figure is the calculated crank bhp? @wheels figures quite a bit less for drivetrain losses

The Rs4 flexible power delivery makes its so useable on fast a roads, when the weather improves and you have chance for a real drive you will be very very impressed at the ease in which the car will do a very good pace
