Sorry to see that mate.

Are the company not liable for the damage? Or did you have to sign a disclaimer?

oooft - not so good chap.

was speaking to a ford nut yesterday about the rs500 and the wrapping on it. Seems a few have already had problems like this also along with peeling, bubbles etc. and thats on new cars!

hope you get the bodywork etc sorted.

Not sure if it luck or whether all wraps can cause this, they do not accept any liablity. I will get most of the major bits done on Monday, and then the remainder sorted early next year. It is a shame, but the silver lining is a full front and back bumper repray will get rid of some other scuffs and almost ALL the stone chips the car has (bonnet is pretty much MINT)

I deffo wouldn't go down the wrapping route again with what they charge for it these days.... ah well, we live and learn

Good discussion and makes me think that I will not pursue this idea. Besides I like detailing too much and something to clean the the weekends, kind of theraputic in a way. TBH, much nicer in black

I got involved in an often heated debate on here a couple of years ago about how wrapping could/would leave to just this sort of (expensive to sort out) damage to the lacquer/paint. Seeing those pictures makes me glad I stuck to my opinion that wrapping is a bad idea.

Aye I remember Dave, I have no regrets but you were indeed right, although others have had no damage left after a wrap...

I'd say expect the worst and hope for the best, worst case is you will need some bodyshop work done... its not the end of the world, just an expense I can do without
