Any vinyl wrapped carbon?
It's not local to you Klauster but I would thoroughly recommend Paul Collins at Heritage Classics in Middlesbrough He is Classic Jaguar Club recommended body repair and paintshop specialist and is an Audi nut.
Had my S4 front end resprayed by him and the job was excellent.
Happy to help you out with a lift from / to if you want.

I would say so. As example the S4 had the bonnet, bumper and wings taken back, and resprayed / blended for £950. And that was on a brilliant (base) black car which any paintshop person will tell you is a pig to match.
He would probably need your car for 3 days.
Paint thickness was nearly on a par using a depth meter os OEM.

Left front wing respray

hi there, sorry for hi-jacking this post, but I am new round these parts. Saw that you have a white wrap and this is something I would be very interested in doing when I eventually find myself an Avant that I want. What are some of the cons you have had with a white wrap please, is it easy to live with, how do you maintain/ keep clean etc. Many thanks.

Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar
Easy to live with, although you can't jet wash them. Looked very good for 18 months, then some peeling which can be sorted out for a small charge.steve_70 wrote:hi there, sorry for hi-jacking this post, but I am new round these parts. The areas of damage are very small to be honest, hardly noticeable to others. Unfortunetely I think the only way to correct it properly is to get panels reprayed... hence the high price.
What I would say is that even with the damage, I don't regret changing colour using wrapping. The car looked very good in white and taking into account paintwork repair costs, I still have paid what it costs for a wrap these days.
I got a new quote for wrapping and its nearly double what I paid...£1800!
I can't wait to be able to detail the RS4 again

Klauster - Might be a bit nearer for you -> I have used Hayseldens VW bodyshop. It is near Barnsley. They did a fantastic job on my RS4 after somebody damaged the door.....
Don't know about price as the 3rd party insurance paid
Allegedly they also hold teh Audi Approval for working on Al paneled cars such as the A8
