Out of interest will a prefix D fit? any idea what the actual difference is?

I don't know, but I suspect that the other one is metal rather than lightweight plastic like the RS6. It may not have the ventilation for the intercoolers, also.

had mine replaced a couple of months ago , wear and tear from speed bumps etc , Audi code was A4B3 863 821 C , may need to renew clips and dowel pins as well
