Will DTM front splitter fit

Post by sonny » Sun Oct 03, 2010 3:10 pm

Tried doing a search as I am sure this has been covered.

Does any one know if the Front CF splitter from the B7 A4 DTM special Edition will fit out front bumpers?

It looks like it might, even with a little modifying. The splitter is £400 from dealer.

Sonny, I'm sure i've seen this splitter on a red saloon picture somewhere on here too. I'll take a look around.

I found this but now I look at it again I don't think it's the DTM version.

The RS4 bumper is several inches wider than either A4 or S4 bumpers, so the splitter is likely to be several inches too short.

As the RS4 wheel arches are blistered out wider than a non-RS not sure how it can fit? :(

This bit is interesting..."This product is made for a universal fit for various bumper applications within the B6 & B7 platform. Please select car model trim" so maybe there is more chance of it fitting than first thought ?

Just how I imagined it would fit, looks very very nice and am tempted! How much modifying was needed? cutting, drilling ect??
