it's a set-up
1: his M3 is cheap, the RS4 expensive
2: his friend 'claims' he's a member? why would he lie?
3: neck and neck means equal
4: his
maybe (sic) a touch quicker in 1 gear, otherwise equal
5: he states he is as quick, but the age old dyno/down on power BS is proferred as the 'reason'
6: can't be drivers, the RS4 driver is better, which implies since the cars are equal, and the other driver is better, his car must be more powerful to overcome the advantage...hmmmmm
7: he expected more: why?
it weighs 28% more and has 28% more power...wouldn't that imply 'equal'?
8: his 'friend' (who has yet to appear) may sell it now because his buddy taught him a lesson
sims?

OK, so i own a £4k e36 m3 evo. Me and a friend who claims he is a member on here (might be along shortly) had a good blast last night in a variety of gears and pulls and the cars were neck and neck. His maybe a touch quicker in 4th gear +. He reckons his is healthy and verified 377 bhp on a dyno day with print out and recenty serviced. Am I as quick as he is slightly down on power? He says most dyno around this number. Not here for a medal just an explanation, he is probably a better driver than me to so theres that variable out the window. Expected more from a 400bhp+ car tho... and cant wor it out- he was joking that he might sell as my old tank kept with him
