Bit more info, car went through auction, looked fairly genuine, needed a some paint and had, had a lot of paintwork before. Had full audi sh, sold for £9700.

Was showing some sort of headlight level fault on the display.

I was tempted but wasn't tidy enough to take the risk with the possibility of drc fault.

In my previous experience, it generally doesn't matter which make/model car you buy 2nd hand, you should always have a budget to sort out the little niggles straight after your purchase.

I guess any seller won't be selling a car because it is 100% perfect - perhaps it needs new tyres soon, perhaps the next service is due in a few thousand miles, so they get rid of it before they have to spend out again.

It just so happens that for a £60k ish (when new) supercar, those little niggles tend to cost a bit more to sort out straight away :(

I've already resigned myself that I'll probably need a set of 4 tyres and front discs and pads before the next MOT in December. I'll probably get all 4 wheels re-furbed at the same time, but I knew that before I bought the car so I could plan ahead.

Really enjoying my first 5 days of ownership though :D :D :D :D
