The RS4 will break the speed limit so easily you might not notice.

the C1 has to be ragged to within an inch of it's life (which in a strange way also makes it fun to drive since you have to work at it) which means it's easy to not notice that you've ragged it over the limit.

So a small low powered car is not necessarily a licence saver.
Well sort of yes :)... the C1 will not make such silly speeds so quickly, and as you say it's hard work and you would normally notice it..

tell it like it is...not the car, but the driver

I mean really, blaming the car, an inanimate object, for our actions?
it's like we don't have control over it...
a 2 ton metal box hurtling down the road under it's own volition, lol

Thinking about it the Toureg may be a bit of a tank but that V10 disel will get you into license losing speeds not that far behind an RS4!

Ahh, but you don't notice it because you're so busy ragging the little bu**er and being deafened by the combination of wind, tyre and engine noise!

65mph is just as "exciting" as speeds the wrong side of the national speed limit.

Anyone else remember how "exciting" 50mph was in an original 998cc Mini running on 10" wheels?

I've has as much fun in my 'old' BMW 2002 as any car I've ever had...
and it would do 'only' 115 mph
50 mph on back country roads felt sweet

Now you are getting the gist of this particular discussion

4 cylinders, discs only at front, 14" wheels?, 165 section tyres?, no DRC etc etc..

You were doing so well until then, when you've made a personal "snipe" again.

Just drop the personal stuff, it does you a dis-service.

BTW what cars have you had between your 848cc Mini and now?

I'll share my car history if you share yours.

It was not a snipe, but FFS stop treating him as your 6 month old baby.

Just look at his earlier posts on this thread, and you will better understand.

Too many to list......but a 1275 Cooper S was one of them whilst we are talking Mini's & having fun without too much top speed.
