My S4 up for salvage

Post by MICALEE » Sat Jun 12, 2010 8:03 pm

After my S4 was stolen back in Feb, it is now under auction at HBC Salvage

Property of the insurance company after they settled on my claim: Currently on £5590!

And no, I will not be bidding, I have a car now!

Well here we go, dont laugh! The reason it was knicked was for its practicality - Bloody fast, 4 door, big boot. The police told me they had recovered up to 9 S4's, RS4's in the area which were stolen either to order or for getaway cars. Buying another performance Audi will put me in the firing line once again, and also my family (due to the nature of the theft!)

Therefore, with my commuting in mind and the S4 not being the most economical, I decided to go diesel! Yes I know, I hate that word as well!!

My uncle has a BMW 530d M Sport, surprisingly fast (0-60 6.7sec) and very comfortable, economical etc etc. I therefore opted for one.

There, I have said it.

Sorry Audi, it wasnt personal!

Did look at an A8 facelift, but out of the price range. When the opportunity arises, I will return to Audi
