Is there something on the market that can be applied to alloys that stops brakes having to be scrubbed off?
Ideally it would be good to simply jetwash the crap off the wheels instead of having to get the toothbrush out...

Poorboys wheel sealant gets the thumbs up from me!
Although it has to be said that the "4" gets washed twice a week
Pick it up online from Polished Bliss, Clark or Ritchie will see you right

I've tried loads of different potions and lotions and i've still never found anything which will allow you to do that (ie: Jetwash/touchless clean) with the huge amount of brake dust given off by big Audi brakes.
A decent wheel sealant will let you jetwash most off and the rest can usually be wiped off easily with a soft wet cloth.

Hi there, i use RIM WAX, it polishes and prevents up to 75% of brake dust, here is the link mate http://www.rim-wax.co.uk/
This stuff:

No affiliation, but I have been using it for years. Just coated my S4 after a thorough cleanse, clay and polish and it hasn't looked dirty in weeks. A gentle hose down gets all the muck off. I haven't done my wheels yet as I need to clay them first and am thinking of changing them anyway.
I really can't recommend this stuff highly enough. You will never have brake dust problems again, I can assure you...

ive got a bit of an obsession with this and over 2 years ive cracked it
You need....
1 bottle of Isopropyl Alcohol (aka IPA)
1 tub of Chemical Guys Wheel Guard
1 tin of Collinite 476s wax
Clean the wheels as usual to get them spotless, then do a really good wipe down with IPA to remove any oils and grease to leave a good base to start with.
2 coats of the Wheel Guard and 2 of the 476s as per the instructions.
I did my wheels like this back in Nov and since then theyve been through all the salt and snow and at one point didnt get washed for about 2 months because the weather was so bad. They just wash clean with normal car shampoo and a wash mitt and to this day are still unmarked
