And from reading your posts if you are looking for general courtesy from other members and this is something I have raised with you previously please stop being so antagonistic. I'm sure you could look up the last time I raised this with you as well, albeit it was more subtle last time.

.
Apart from a couple of members here, I had had no real issue with anyone else. I look forward to seeng your posts to others here who are downright rude & insolent (and not just to me), or are you trying to single me out?

I haven't sided with anyone but given I have also just had 4 PM's from 4 different members on a similar theme, which is in my terms that some members need to wind their necks in it would appear to be a consensus; this thread is going the same way as most of the others your 'contribution' becomes pedantic to the point of nausea.
I suggest you read the posts, and then decide.

The usual suspects.

I don't single peope out beacuse I view this forum as it is, an internet forum. But I do expect common courtesy from one human being to another and as much as your language may not be as crude as others as said in other responses to your posts you amongst others do yourself and this forum as a whole no favours.

don't waste your breath (typing) he will never be wrong...

he's the guy who cast the first stone, if you know what I mean, biblical context and all, lol

on a side note, just flushed 2 liters of Pentosin thru my hydraulics...the clutch slave bleed nipple, criminy it's hard to get to!

another side note, you can get oem pads F & R for $150 on US ebay!
they are TRW brand, and feel just like the oem...which I like
good intial bite, very progressive pedal/easy to modulate
easy on the rotors (until you get to the pins, lol)
negatives: dust, fade when they get real hot...

we were talking about the UK at the time, he did not say he was talking about the US or where he got his data from and yes I did ask if the US suspension was different. You have decided to side with Arthur as most of your posts show, that is not an issue for me.

I don't remember him saying anything about solely the UK. And I didn't realise that DRC was just a UK issue so why confine it to be for the sake of your argument.

speaking personally, yes, he has pointed out when I was out of line...and yes, he was right...
it's good this happens, becasue we as humans with egos have a difficult time seeing our faults, let alone 'owning' them...

he's a level headed guy, so his advice should be considered seriously...he's trying to be as gentle, and diplomatic as possible...I trait I don't share, lol

Sims, I agree with Scaghead on this one. It's nothing personal but you do seem to be a common denominator when threads get out of hand.

Thanks

I see what you say. However, I have posted on many threads and also started quite a few.

It is the carbon buildup thread that has had the heated discussions, and this subject threads had the same heated discusisons well before I came on to the scene.

It's the subject, and the two camps. I am not making it personal, and you should read the whole of original 420ps thread to see this for yourself.

he's trying to be kind & helpful, that's all
man, people don't want to perpetuate this...
what you asked is a perfect example of his point...
what good will come from it?

I suggest we BOTH heed their advice, and try to contribute, rather than squabble...

Have you told the others?
P_G, Arthur has alluded that you have had words with him privately, so why did you not tell him on the forum and the others? You do not like singling people out or generalisations.

I did not say private, he did it in open posts...
on a few occasions...he was right, it was warranted, I respect him for it...

let it go...you are doing exactly what they commented on...

I never alluded it was Arthur Sims, you assumed..... incorrectly

Arthur has not PM'ed me on this subject but we have spoken outside this forum about other RS4 related subjects with no intent other than that.

I have not seen the open posts directed at you, or others specifically. And that seems inconsistent to me.

However, I think that is cleared up now that there will be no insulting language and use of words like lier, loser, whiner, choad etc etc ever again.

:)
