RS4 B5/S4 B5 main differences

Hi Guys.I'd wanna know what the main differences between those 2 sisters.

-Engine(i know the rs4 has different internals, intake, injectors and cosworth head,...).

-Transmission(same axles?,...)

-Brakes(bigger on RS4)

-Exhaust(would a S4 turbo back be compatible on a RS4).


I ask this because i hesitate between buyingone of these 2 cars.I find a lot more parts for the S4.

I'd project to install an APR turbo back exhaust and an ARD turbo kit(both previewed for S4) on a RS4 but need to know what is compatible.

If you want to play about the s4 is a great car for modifying- I found the smaller turbos spool up more quickly with a remap making it good round town, however, now I've got an rs4 it's a different car again - 460 bhp vs myt old 320bhp (s4) - when you stir it it's proper fast! Rs4`has much more road presence I've found which can attract more attention. The s4 has more of a sleeper look- if you've got the money get an rs4, Thet're rarer faster and a bit more special! Si
