all part numbers are identical, neither of those have anything to do with deposits anyways
the only difference is software revisions and Audi updates as they service the cars, so all should be the same...
increasing engine oil temp would increase deposits, not decrease them...more oil would become volitile...
increasing the oil temp by 20C would make it operate ~235-240F, that is too hot and would break the oil down rapidly, necessitating more changes...
the RS5 engine is IDENTICAL to the RS4, again, IDENTICAL, the only difference being the intake boxes/manifold, geometry only, everything else is the same...block, heads, etc.
look at the torque numbers, 317 each, the HP was increased by changine cam timing (through software/indexing) to shift the power up a bit to 8400 or so, and as you know HP ~ T x RPM, so increasing rpm = more HP, the intake helps it breath a bit better...the RS4 will have better drivability/elasticity/flexibility due to more torque at lower rpm's, check out the specs...

they have not acknowledged power loss
the RS4 engine has not been mechanically revised during its production run
where is the source for that 'info' from Audi AG (quattro GmbH)?
it's not 'my view' that the PISTON rings are NOT in the CYLINDER head, lol
btw: Audi spec range is 1 liter per 1000km...it hasn't changed
