Better than Denison?

Post by Shoppinit » Thu Jan 28, 2010 11:06 am

I was looking at other intergration methods for my ipod, but I don't want to lose the CD changer like you do with the new Denison 100. So I came across this which looks just the jobby:

Anyone used it?

I'm sorely tempted by that. It looks to tick all the boxes! Plus, you maintain your CD chager as well! :)

That looks tempting. I would like to connect the spotify program to the car via the phone. Is that an easy DIY fit you think?

Cool. Got me a guinea pig :) I look forward to seeing how it goes. This way I can stop using my iphone through the TV tuner.

Coulboy - can you stream ipod/iphone over bluetooth now ? couldn't see an option in the link and was gutted when, having had an early parrot MK6100 installed, found out that although there's bluetooth on the iPhone, it didn't allow streaming. It'd be nice if things have changed !!

This could well be what I was looking for! Well done that man!!! I shall be very interested to hear feedback :-)

As for the BT interface, it doesnt say whether that links into the RNS unit too or whether its just a standalone like the Parrot.

I've been touch with the supplier of this item, and they might be willing to give a 'bulk buy discount'.
No exact discount yet, but if anyone else fancies one of these, let me know and I'll see what discount we can get.
I'm looking forward to seeing how coulboy's install goes ;)

I think there are quite a few of us interested depending upon the install and the final job.

Price is probably not the issue.

I installed the denison on my last BMW, great result but was a pain to install for me and really hard to squeeze everything in behind the head unit and feed the wires etc.

I know I would love to see one of those amazing picture by picture guides etc

Thanks

As of OS version 3.0 the ipod touch / iphone 3G / 3GS now streams audio over bluetooth.
