I can vouch for that, mine a high miler and it runs a dream :P

agree, my daily hack is a 1998 TDI passat, bought with 101k miles, still going strong at 203k !!

mileage does not scare me.

Looking at the pics, the rear parking sensors look suspicious to me. Seem too high up and look a bit aftermarket.
Also the advert only mentions rear sensors, but the Audi system is front and rear.
But F/R sensors were standard on the RS4, weren't they?

From the pics you can see the front parking sensors in the bumper and the numberplate grille so probably just misdescription. The ad reads of someone who doesn't know much about spec. on RS4's, that all. Plus not disclosing about number of owners. Lady owner.... who...Sabine Schmidt?

I agree the rear sensors do look a bit suspect maybe a rear shunt and the front seat bolster looks as if an elephant was driving it. Appoligies to the previous lady owner.

I agree with the earlier post - you may be better off going down the approve used route. Do your best to find a car at an Audi garage, and make sure you wander in to do the deal very near to the end of the month, so that the salesman is under serious pressure from the sales manager to shift best part of £30k stock before they have to finance it for another month. If you can wait 'till the end of March do that as big garages like to shift stock before the end of the tax year.
I bought my car like this on the last day of November and got best part of £5k thrown at the deal by the dealer, plus negotiation on extended warranty etc.
This is about the third time I've bought a car using this timing method and it's always worked for me.
Good luck!
Phantom Black 06 (current), Evo 8 sold, Evo 6 sold, Escort Cosworth sold, Sierra Cosworth (nearly killed me several times) sold, RS Turbo sold

Or just buy a car with warranty on it privately and avoid all the hassle....

yep, if you have cash in the bank, a private sale from a genuine enthusiast on a car under Audi warranty is the only way to roll

wellzieRS4 wrote:Yeah i would avoid that i got mine from a mini dealer 25k on the clock exclusive leather un that 1 owner 4 28.5k its not that cheap should be 26k with that many owners you be better off with more miles on one than loads of owners, it must have faults spent most of its life in a garage that why it low mileage
PS must say mines had faults nothing much only EVERY F**KING PART THAT MAKES UP THE CLUTCH but its being sorted foc (thank f**k) stick to a main dealer preferably Audi

What about if you buy a low mile one and then put miles on it? :D

Steer clear the bolsters look dodgy....I fell for the "changing plates adds to number of owners" when I was 20yrs old buying in Essex from a wide boy.....engine blew up on the way home...
