rs4 for sale in Hounslow....

Post by Angelo_Amato » Mon Jan 18, 2010 8:01 pm

Anybody local who could check this out?

ticks all the right boxes for me, but when i asked about previous owners, he said 7, yes SEVEN ! WTF? guy says it's had a few plate changes and if not done correctly this can add owners to the V5, not heard this before but never had a private plate either.

pity as looks a good car

cheers, Angelo

bullsh*t, changing the reg does not add owners!!!

I've had to change both my reg's (K4OUL & K9OUL) about 7 times in the last 2 years due to my chopping and changing and A: there is no way it can add an owner and B: its not difficult

also, lady owner?? which one if there's bloody 7 !!

Question you have to ask is this

This car has a book price, i.e p/x price of £28k assuming excellent condition, so why is the seller selling it below that?

either he got it cheap by chance and just wants to make a quick buck
or
he got it cheap becuase there are issues

It could be a bargain, just beware and do the usual checks

7 is a large number of owners in 4 years. Reg transfers don't add registered keepers!

And check the drivers seat bolster - maybe one very large lady owner??

As others have said, maybe a nice car. Note however that most of the stuff the seller lists is standard anyway.

Yeah i would avoid that i got mine from a mini dealer 25k on the clock exclusive leather un that 1 owner 4 28.5k its not that cheap should be 26k with that many owners you be better off with more miles on one than loads of owners, it must have faults spent most of its life in a garage that why it low mileage
PS must say mines had faults nothing much only EVERY F**KING PART THAT MAKES UP THE CLUTCH but its being sorted foc (thank f**k) stick to a main dealer preferably Audi

My local Audi also mentioned that low miled RS4s are buggers - these cars are better if they are drivin frequently. TVRs where the same. Sit them in a garage and they become very tempremental.
