Hi everyone

Post by Harsh » Sun Dec 27, 2009 8:00 pm

I've been pointed over to this forum as THE place to find out about performance Audis.

i've recently registered on Tyresmoke and SRS and found them friendly and with a wealth of information too so thought i might as well go with the recommendation and register here too.

so far i'm impressed with the way the site is laid out and it seems just as friendly and knowledgeable as i've been told.

so, who am i?
Well my username may be familiar to those who frequent other sites (eg PH)
By day i run a trading desk but my passion is cars and driving. I need no excuse to take the car out and play. If there's a meet i'll find the scenic route too and from it.
i currently run a Ferrari 360 Spider, an Ariel Atom and an E46 M3 with AP brakes and a few other selective improvements.

I'm after an B6/7 S4 Avant as a replacement for my Ford F150 tour support vehicle.

Not found one as yet but the search goes on!

Welcome - nice collection of toys indeed.

Had a B6 S4 avant previously - great car however reckon the mpg will be crap if you end up towing anything (but then again - the Ford F150 won't be exactly economical).
Good luck with your search.

Towing? Nah, hopefully we won't need to do that :)
Just need it to carry a few bits and pieces (fuel can, tow rope, a few tools, stuff like that) around with us, and keep up with some of those toys ;)

(Myself and Harsh are looking for the same car, in case anyone's wondering...)

Well, we managed to find a car and picked it up this morning, then promptly dropped it straight off at MRC to have a new clutch fitted :)
It's got a pipe on it (not Milltek, something else) and it sounds fantastic :D

Looking forward to getting to know the car better, and of course taking it on tour this year to France, Scotland, Denmark, Norway, Italy, Switzerland, and Wales!
