VOLTAGE isn't what causes the bulb failure warning, it's lack of WATTAGE.

Looks great but imagine trying to get that resistor in the headlight unit!

After just reading this thread from start to finish I have decided to go down this route too. Just one question, has anybody questioned the Longevity of the blue tint bulbs? (the ones from PIAA do look very good quality). I have had the "white light" bulbs on a old BMW before, and after a year it seemed that the blue turned into a dark blue almost black colour due to the heat. I also had one blow. As any body experience this yet, esp those that have fitted them already.

Also any one updated thee Headlight bulbs?

Open bonnet and remove the black cover on the right hand side of the engine bay,it simply just lifts off.
you will then see the rear of the light unit, this has a cover that needs to be removed
look inside and you will see the bulb holder (grey i think) remove and swap the bulbs then replace everything.
If you do the passanger side first it will be obvious what needs to be done on the drivers side its just a bit more fiddly.
