Post by AndyC1982 » Sun Nov 29, 2009 11:11 am

Hi Guys,

just wondering if anyone had a picture of the air box mod, i'm planning on giving it a go next weekend and I just need an idea of what I need to do.

Cheers

Sorry dont have a picture but all you need to do is remove the secondary air valve and flap in the lower half of the airfilter housing and blank the vucuum hose. About 15mins to do.
I havn't cut anymore holes in the airbox as unless you are going for high hp you dont need to.
HTH.

I logged a 5g/s increase in airflow when I did the mod on my S4 - not sure what that's worth in bhp, but it's more about allowing more air in on high (400+) hp cars.
