AFAIK there never was an official option for a larger fuel capacity.

It says 63 but with the reserve as has been described before on this forum I would suggest it is nearer 65-70. I have managed to put 65.5 litres in the tank before, just depends on how many miles past 0 on the DIS you dare drive. 25 for me before my nerve broke and I refuelled.

I've seen all sorts of werid and wonderful options listed on cars in the past, some come down to ignorance and others just plain and simple lying! Suffice to say this was never an Audi fit option....

 You've got balls mate! I brick it when the reserve light goes on and it says I have 30 miles left and start driving it with my foot as light as a feather! Saying that, I rarely squeeze in more than 57 litres, so must have 5 litres spare before the reserve?

Feck! I thought I was getting close last night having gone 10 miles on 0, had the a/c off and everything

Only took 64L at the pump, though I didn't try hard.

All quattro versions of the A4 have a 63 litre tank, so the S4 and RS4 do as well.

Having said that, I've managed to get as much as 67 litres in when using the "magic lever" in the fuel filler.

Yep, the toggle in the fuel filler neck is good for at least another 2-4 litres if you flick it (backward of forward, it's your choice) for about 5-10 seconds.

Plus if you cosnider at what rate our cars consume a litre the difference between 67 and 70 litres on a standard non Quattro tank is negligible.
