Current insurance company refuse to reinsure the RS cos modifications are too expensive and form a high proportion of the value of the car.
Car has MRC remap, full Miltek incl cats,20 inch C6 wheels and big brakes front and rear. Anybody got any good insurance on similarly modded car.
Cheers

Esure are good until it comes to insuring additional cars for a few days. I had my Evo7 and RS6 insured for together for 3 days and they charged me an extra £180 for 3 days cover on the 7??? It was only £360 for the year??

Try Brentacre. Really friendly people with policies that can cover up to 1000bhp. Usually the policies allow cosmetic modifications without any policy changes needed.

I have the RS4 and my E39 530d Sport insured with them but have also insured my 4x4 saph cos with them in the past too and they have always been very competitive on quotes.

Am with Adrian Flux and just had a renewal quote and they are very mod friendly. They are quoting around £730 (10 years NCB) and parking in London on the street. It makes a difference if you can give limited mileage and also mention you are a member of the RS246 club as they put you down as a low risk anorak!
