I'd take the GT-R over the Porsche, but I'd make an exception for a Ruf. I know what the Mrs thinks of Porsche drivers (Sorry Simon!).

If your husband has a Porsche, follow him

I also like the fact that GT-Rs are quite rare...

Sorry, I have no idea who owns the Lambo!

GTR's rare? They are 10 a penny down here, and im assuming the same can be said in London.

I think i have found the lambo owner. He frequents the Piston Heads forum apparently so my search shall continue over there.

Yeah, the GT-R doesn't come with the pretentiousness of owning a Porsche.

Nearly had the same event today but with a phenominal looking red F430. He followed me for about 5 miles through the 30's around Poole before pulling along side me at the lights before the slip road onto the dual carriageway (about 2 miles of straight road ahead of us). He opened the window and said, 'sorry mate, the missus has just called and ive got to get back home'. He then took off around the roundabout and then back along the route we had just come. I reckon its the best sound ive heard from a car for a long time. There are a couple of tunnels and overpasses on the route we travelled and every time we went under them i could hear him revving the engine. Amazing!

So close! And this time i had my mobile phone ready to record the antics (passenger doing the filming obviously).

Your passenger must have a steady hand, as when I've been in that situation I find the resulting video footage to be all over the place...
