Hey Guys
Really appreciate your help:
Part 1
Just wondering if someone can help me out. I've had a few issues with my abs/esp the other day where I had my abs/esp light on constantly on the dash as well as the handbrake light flashing. Anyway I looked into it with VAG and found the abs module had lost its coding for some reason? Anyway I recoded it as the RS4 and S4 are the same in this way. All fixed but now I cannot turn off ESP via the button on the dash??
I had this exact problem a few years ago on my previous S4 and solve it by recoding and then activating a abs system road test where the lights stay on until you road test and do a rh turn then a lh turn and then hit the brake or something?
Can someone please let me know how to activate this test again as I cannot for life of me remember how to activate it. Also if someone can post how to recode the abs just to make sure I have all the steps correct?
Thanks in advance and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Part 2:
I found instructions to set the abs road test and
after a few hours of driving around both the esp and abs lights finally went out but I still cannot turn esp off via dash button? I can communicate with the abs in VAG so I assume my module isn't bad. Normally the esp/abs lights go out alot quicker when I have done this in the past but a few times while the lights remained on I had the handbrake light flash and beep, cheacked codes and found this:
01423 Lateral Acceleration Sensor G200
27-00 Implausable Signal
What the hell is that and where is the G200 sensor located?
Anyway after clearing codes and continuing to drive the lights on the dash went out but the esp button still will not work!!??
And the 01423 dtc hasn't reoccured, but I sense there is obviously still something wrong? Don't know where to go from here, is there a test for the esp button to see if that is the problem although I highly suspect that isn't the problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

RE: ESP/ABS problems!! Any help greatly appreciated
You say the ABS coding is the same for the S4/RS4, but the pre-facelift S4 didn't have ESP.
If you've used the same coding as a pre-facelift S4 (which didn't have ESP), could that be the problem?

Hey mate thanks for your reply
I actually recoded with the S4 with ESP coding which should be correct
Can you do me a huge favour and post what the coding is of your abs if you can connect to it via VAG etc.?
Really want that to check that info with mine as not many RS4's down here in Australia. Only 30 in the country and very hard to get info like this
Thanks in advance
