If they made a GTR with a nice interior I'd buy one - 6 is much better on the inside, particularly given the age, especially if you don't have the piping on the seats!
IMHO of course...

Not that i mind the hijack of this thread, its all good. But does anyone know that Murcialago or its driver? He seems to be a common face in the area and ive seen him a dozen or so times in the past.

Please continue the GTR convo as its actually quite interesting.

I thought the GT-R would be much quicker than that. Didn't it get some insanely low time around the ring?

The GT-R is very very good at corners not just straight line speed hence the ring time. Remember JC did his neck in test driving it!

Spect it just makes you shat your pants quicker.
Apparently nissan also void your warranty if you turn off the traction control once!!!

you would be annoyed if your kids did it accidently!!!

I know here in OZ , Nissan will atuomatically void your warranty if you use launch control!

too many twisted gear boxes!

next model out will not have launch control, at least here.

I believe ( according to Paul who has one) its only voided if you do the playstaion launch control- feck knows what that is but apparently they can tell what buttons have been pressed and when.......
Or it could all be ballax....including what I have just said.........

Having launch control on a car and then being told you are not allowed to use it is like saying to your 14 year old son. " now son, in the DVD player is a pornographic movie, and on top is a box of tissues. DO NOT watch it."
It's all Bollox.

The GTR is truly awesomely fast and I do not even bother anymore if I see one. Evo's car of the year testing had it blitzing 911GT2 which is lighter and on paper 530hp so they (and most) suspected that the actual power is far higher than spec but if you do tweeak them like the R33/R34 used to be then the warranty is voided.

Problem is, they are a geeks car and I would have a classy 911 anyday over one, even though it is faster.

My mate's didn't come with satnav, despite having a 7 inch touch screen LCD in the dash. None of the early UK imports did apparently - wasn't an option and can't be upgraded. It'll look poor with a TomTom hanging off the windscreen!

Hmm, I don't know about that- I dont think there is anyone here who remembers S4int on here Well grant may- he has one and i wouldn't call him a geek....A serious petrol head maybe B5S4, B5RS4(470bhp) b7RS4 (450bhp), R32megane, and the GT-R.......oh and a mapped A3 19tdi - 220bhp
