I have the 380x32 front 6 pot and 342x32 rear 4 pot brake kit. Brilliant brakes but ridiculously expensive. Front discs alone cost 1500 quid for the pair. The full kit front and rear all in is almost 5000 pounds (discs, pads calipers, hoses etc). I would never have bought the kit myself, it was fitted to the car by the previous owner. I would go for the Grizz kit if I were you, much cheaper and probably just as good.

I think I'm going to need a full set of discs & pads on the front sometime soonish, so I'll be interested to know that the difference in cost is on the upgrade. I've never been entirely happy with the brakes.

I have the Unit20 big brake upgrade, and its feckin awsome, I think my car was one of if not the first customer car to have it fitted, and 18 months later its still going strong, the stopping power is un-be- levable! The disks have done about 20k miles now and are still ok, which surprises me as i drive like a loon.
As for costs, IIRC it was about £1000, and compared to the movit setup, well they wont stop you 4grand better or last 4 grand longer, that i can tell you.
I can honestly say that the brakes have given me confidence that was never there before, and to boot, they would appear to be less harsh on pads, and certainly i am not worrying constanly about buckling or warping.

The ultimate accolade was when a highly tuned B5RS4 driver drove mine and said and I quote "<beep> ME- THAT HURTS!!"

£3000??? That must include the rears too.....

The movit kit is just a different version of the Grizz kit.....It has near enough the same parts as U20 kit only smaller disks...Anyhoo, your choice, and I am sure the will be fine, I am just not sure they will be a couple of grand finer imho.
One thing tho, the movit set up are pad eaters on the front......

Movit Disc just aren't up to the job and you will probably find that calliper isn't as good as the standard one. Best bet is listen to people who have had experience with the product. Grizz's kit sounds bang on and at that money you can't really go wrong.

Spent a bit of time in Germany with a lot of B5 RS4 owners who have converted to the Movit kits and have since thrown them in the bin and gone for B7 RS callipers and 380mm disc from either AP or Brembo. Ever heard anyone raving on about how good Movit are?? I haven't unfortunately. Got nothing against them and agree they look fantastic but the reality is they don't seem to be up to the job.
Current car..... hmmmmm????

Movit are cr@p
I've had em on my S4 and RS4's.
They don't do jack.

Stick to OEM.

I think a more useful question would be why you feel you need to upgrade your current OEM setup?
