Contigo is right to say get the cams checked but any decent mechanic can check them even though I'd suggest a specialist for replacement such as Unit 20, MRC, APS or qst depending where you are/who you prefer.

what's the mileage on yours? You can factor a grand per 10k miles extra from a dealer if it's same spec.

Would seem fontains cars carry the same premium above the real cars street value as other specialists!High mileage are available for 11k low 16k mega low 18-19? I would take a straight car over low mileage but repaired a few times any day!!

Dealers are higher that's a fact unfortunately. I'd say your must be good for 17-18k. At a dealer add a grand.

I would like to think the same but and i did try @17995 for a month but!!!! If i remember NigeRS4 tried the same and we both dropped to 16995.the dealer premium is nearer 4k im afraid feel free to ring them, theres less premium on b7s as they are selling well if a good spec/example,b5s need to wait for the right man and they want a decent return for having that kind of money in the car not turning over for such a long time, hence my posting that these mega low mileage 20 odd k b5s arent realistic as us the owners will recieve 3-4k less even if we give them our cars on a sale or return basis,we ourselves can only achieve mid teens for mint low mileage cars and that takes time to wait for the right man

Yes it's a waiting game but the low miler cars are shifing from dealer, ask Nick.

I have no doubt they are selling i have interest in mine, but my point was his prices arent what the cars are actually worth to us as owners if you need to sell,i have talked to nick a few times and mine is pitched at marginally more than i would recieve if i let him sell it on a sale or return basis, but that doesnt change there real worth to us does it? Its wishfull thinking that we can acheive those prices,i can offer the same ie p/x and finance and warrantys are easily available should a buyer need it.
