NO TRACKER?!?!

Post by mrmule » Mon Jun 15, 2009 10:09 am

I was under the impression that all RS6s had Trackers fitted as standard? I called tracker this morning (http://www.tracker.co.uk/SVR/Contact.html) and she checked by VIN and reg, and came up with nothing!!!

Little upset to say the least.

Any suggestions? Have I contacted the wrong people? If it doesnt have a tracker, what on earth is the 'GPS' thing behind the bee sting aerial?

The basic Tracker was never standard fit but, annoyingly, was a free-of-charge option.

An on-the-ball salesman could have added it for nothing.

The GPS is for the sat nav.

How can you tell if the tracker is fitted or not?
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

I think you can only really tell by phoning tracker themselves. Incidentally, you also need to be paying a subscription, so if you're not then you're not covered - even if you have the hardware onboard.
