I eat RS6's for breakfast

Post by NumberoftheBeast » Sun Jun 07, 2009 10:06 pm

Just went on Pistonheads looking at current values of the RS6 and saw this at the top of the list in the RS6 section.

Spec sounds awesome. Interior looks awful, exterior looks worse. It's one of those cars that I'd love a go in it, but I'd be embarrassed to park it on my drive.

went to Goodwood breakfast this morning. there were 2 of these on display and they didn;t turn a single head. on the other hand a grey 6 estate was parked at the back getting a lot of interest and mine had a few admiring glances as we pulled out and i gave it large !

hahahaa , ive been to Santa Pod today, there was a supercharched monaro vxr doing 14.5's on the strip. making a hell of a noise and whine, i watches with a grin on my face.

I was behind a vxr8 the other day, we were 3 up, gave him a nudge, and he double de clutched so I new he was drpping a gear, sound was amazing he floored itbut i had to keep braking and in the end he moved over, his eyes popped out as the banana went by.

it is feckin quick, i saw one outside my local curry house, soundedreally nice, but tat was about it. all the lads in the curry house wanted a go in mine because "it was an RS6".
When it left it left the longest 11 up the road and reckon that 60 was about 5 seconds- same old issues as mercs- too much power no grip.
Still, alot of car for 27k........but still a vauxhall
It's all Bollox.
Half of what you read is bull and the other half is all <beep>.

Its a dunny door..... Problem is that in 12 months it will look worse that the RS6 would look in 12 years. Commodores age badly on wear and tear. I am a ford man if I have to but even my brothers BA GT is no where near the RS6. Different class of car truth be told. In Oz the Ford FPV 6 Cyl smokes the lot actually.

I still prefer the RS6 and cannot wait to own one.

Cheers
Mark

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't it the car the local tyre fitter wears? His lawyer drives the RS6 IMO.
