An RS246 moment in Newbury

Paul! Good to hear from you.

Yes, it's looking like the 7th, and this season I'll mostly be bringing the Min.

trevithic, needless to say, wants to go on the 28th with my old RS2, but as I've been asked to a car show on the 21st I'm afraid it would be civil war at Cutler Acres if I suggested three jolly boys' outings in the same month. The do is a classic car show at Monxton Manor near Andover, by the bye. I would tell you what I've been asked to do, but you'd say I was bragging.

If we don't meet at an event, we could get together at a pub one evening with a few of the lads.

That sounds like a plan, Monxton Manor y'say? Hmm, that'll not be far from home... Just had a look at a few things on the interweb and this looks like it could be interesting...

Dicky, Sorry for the OT, but spotted your signature, I believe a forum member has your car down here, is that correct?

Yes, he has, but apart from knowing he makes a living from electrickery, is descended from a Napoleonic Prisoner of War, is closely related to a famous comedian and has a penchant for fast cars, I know nothing about him whatever

Sadly, only in private. The thought of his underpant-headed self strolling benevolently among lesser mortals on the Goodwood estates would be reason enough to go.

Tell me, how did we get here? We started off in Sainbury's car park in Newbury.

I should be there on the 7th (hopefully).
I'll be the one with the underpants on my head, with the bacon butty spread down my top, asleep in an RS2, snoring! (3rd from the left).
