Keep it or not?

Bought myself a b7 but still have my b5 after a last minute let down from the buyer of my b5,financially its not a problem but i could do something more with the money if i sell it,im going to spend some time in both cars to evaluate them back to back but keeping both seems a bit OTT if you know what i mean,any thoughts?????

The b7 is thirstier for sure,the car itself has a knack for disguising speed/pace with its very smooth delivery of power and excellent ride quality,its lost the fast feeling of the b5 somehow probably due to this.Needs to be driven in a different way to the b5 and a little early for me to say i can get the best from it yet,it is an awesome chassis though ive had it drifting a few times,it doesnt snap or bounce around like a b5 with uprated suspension,it flatters the driver easily.Everything flows and you can concentrate on your lines more without having to worry about boost coming in mid corner,outright shove in the back power just isnt there compared to a well tuned b5,i can see the b7 being a bit less of an involving car in terms of ownership by that i suppose i mean it wont need as much tlc/maintenance,i will try and get some pics of them both

Excellent LOL, well I would stay with the Rock ( the beautiful loving wife) every body needs that rock fella, however I rice rough edged diamond may come in handy hehe

I have never driven a B5 but have owned a B7 how for 18 months, I love the car no real dramas, but every time I see a B5 I must admit I do start to drool, I mean you cant beat the looks of the B5, they are great cars.

To answer you question, what car is the mistress and what one is the wife lol

Sorry guys- my usual brain dump on topics of the day.....
Its definately not OTT if you've got the readies- I've got 6 V5's to my name- although 4 of them are bikes.
I started with an Aprilia RSV Mille of '99 vintage and loved it, so when the opportunity of buying the newer RSVR Factory Limited at a year old I went for it. Same 1000cc twin but tuned for more power, less torque and physically smaller and lighter- completely different animal. You have to wrestle the old one and chuck it around before surfing off on the torque, the new one is more cerebral, you just have to think about turning and its on its ear, drinks more because you have to rev it more and concentrate more on your gears- not a bad thing- just different. So I kept the old one too- top decision! I'd only feel guilty if my kids were sleeping under last weeks newspapers and the GF couldn't afford proper underwear.

Aaah man after my own heart,I have a gsxr 1000 k5 and thats something else i wouldnt really want to let go,the next week or so will see if the head wins over the heart,i just cant see me driving the b5 often enough to warrant running it but i really am torn as its such a timeless icon,to make it worse ive seen a plate V6NGY which with lengy as a nickname and the car a v6 is almost perfect for when i take my other plate over to the b7

That's an interesting dilemma you have there mate. In your case the wife and the dirty mistress know each other so there's no guilt. |Never having driven a B7 I don't know what to say, but I decided to keep my B5 instead of getting an RS6 C5 if that's any help.

Guess you need to keep both for a few weeks to see what your head and your heart say after a period of reflection.
