Well done Jim, great day. I'll let you know when mines been sorted, and maybe we can all do it again. It was great meeting everyone, and thanks Pippyrips for the passenger ride - Non res, all the way for me, and re-map also now, looking at the power curves.

Funnily enough, I had subconsiously realised that mine had slowed up recently, but thought it was just me getting used to the power, feel slow on the way back - all in the mind!

Looked like a great day out gents, Some good power figures there and some not so good, like the sideshow pics.
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

Which ones were the 'standard' cars and what ECU Software Versions did they have?

Yes thanks Jim for a good day, [especially for sneaking me on at the end!] partly wished i had not thow as only 338 bhp! got home & took air filter apart & found flap in bottom of air box partially seized & air filter very dirty! so i think a good service is in order & will try again.

Ditto RSLS would be nice to do a comparison,it looks like remap and exhaust is to be added to the bill for a b7,some of the lower figures are worrying, hopefully we can work out general gains for the various tuning mods from such a good gathering of rs4s

what correction factor(s) were used to derive the crank power from the wheel power?

Although valid, this is the type of question which usually opens a 'Can of Worms' and submerses most readers into a state of confusion.

That is dissapointing, I spoke to Jim and we were trying to determine exactly what the deal is with these cars. It's so inconsistent it's unbelievable.!

So, Jims car has been remapped and a bit of fettling on the decat but it's up there with the fettled MRC Pippyribs car? so what does that tell us? A 3K job gives about 4bhp?

Why is Ollys car only producing 300bhp?

Faulty MAF - see other thread about it- booked in with Audi to be sorted, so will be putting it back on the rollers after to see what it actually develops

I know shocking - I just put it down to getting used to the car, and feeling slower with time!

On the way home I was testing the performance and it has definately losts its urgency above 6k revs!
