For Sale - RS6 Saloon - '03 - Avus - Stage 1 - KW v3's - FSH

Post by WeaselRS6saloon » Sat Mar 14, 2009 12:15 pm

Just put on Piston Heads, owned by me for the last 13months, as well as Audi FSH, the car has been to Unit 20 twice, once for KW v3's, the second time for re-map and N75, MAF's & divertors. New tyres 2 weeks ago. Will be a shame to see it go.

Please contact if interested,

thanks
Kev

i got so frustrated selling mine, as there were always people coming on this forum saying their looking for an RS 6 and asking for buying advice, and we all say find a good one, then when one comes up privately noone takes a look.

It seems people feel safer parting with this sort of money at dodgy second hand car delaers chargin £'000s over what excellent private examples are asking, like this is example !!

rant over

on the other hand tho, and obviously I mean no disrespect - I'm sure this car is a beauty, there is very little legal protection (or 'come back') when buying privately compared to buying from a trader. many people just don't have the confidence in their own abilities to spot an iffy car!

For these reasons there will always be a bit of a price differential between private and trader, just as there is between independent and franchised dealers. Any car will sell at a price.... lol

I'm potentially in the market for an RS6 myself and have been doing loads of reading on the forum but I'm still not convinced I could define what separates a good one from bad! :)

Good luck with the sale anyway!

completely understand your point of view. . . and would suggest anyone in that boat get an Inspection from either AA / RAC or MRC or independant mechanic. . . would cost £100 - £200

Any inspection of the car is more than welcome !

The inspector from Warranty Direct said "it was one of the best he had ever seen".

This car will make a genuine buyer very :D

and as for me....... well
