Just got mine done for £363. That's for a 2-year-old car with slightly higher (as in 23k higher) mileage. Hope this helps.

You won't get this price, but I paid £250 which included an oil + filter change....which they did not have to do.

Forgot to mention a lot of that is the cost for the oil.
Supply your own (Castrol Edge 5w30 VW 50400/50700) and the price will come down.

:jump: Have just been quoted £360.00 from Audi or £170.00 from Aps for an 86k service. The Audi lot rekon i might need
new cambelts at this mileage,How can a company produce such an awesome bit of kit and then back it up with crap dealers,i
wanted a price for selling it,the guy came back in to me in the showroom and asked if i'd given him the right key as it would
not start the car(clutch in,press button)i will shame them crawley audi,i wouldn't let them service a push bike, the guy said
he'd ring with the price, this was last saturday i'm still waiting.
 looks like i'll have to have the hassle of selling it privately.
APS include the oil and filter in this price and it's castrol !!!!!!!!!!

Audi aberdeen quoted £292. I actually got mine done at Porsche centre for £270 you require an oil & filter (dust &pollen) change only! You may also need brake fluid if this hasn't been done but that was included in my price. Bavaria Autowerke in Aberdeen quoted £220 for the work. Don't be paying over £320 I say. :boots:

Mine is time for its 1st AVS at 2 years/18k miles. Audi have told be I should also have the brake fluid changed, is this correct? If this is the case, I wonder why is isnt just part of the 1st service.

Bristol have quoted £386.76 all in for just the service, and £454.28 including brake fluid change. They quoted me £314.83 for both service and brake fluid change if I provided my own oil. Does this sound reasonable? Does anyone else have any recommendations. If there isnt a huge amount to be saved, then I'd pay this for the simplicity and convieneince.

Brake fluid should be changed every 2 years - it's hygroscopic (it absorbs water) so it can make the pedal spongy.

It's not part of the first service because for most people the first service, even with AVS, happens before 2 years - e.g. mine was at 15 months.

Ok that makes sense. I'll get it done. Doing the maths on the figures they quoted me, it seems they are charging £71.52 for the brake fluid change, which seems reasonable; and £386.76 for the service, which seems less reasonable. Anyone have any thoughts on these figures? Or should I just go ahead and get it all done?
