10 degrees? Are you sure? That sounds like an awful lot! But you're right in that by setting a little amount of toe in to the front wheels will take some of the straight ahead loading off of the inner edges. They really shouldn't be wearing out the inner edges excessively more than the rest. Although the way the car is used will have an effect. If the car does lots of motorway miles any setting that loads the inner edges will be exaggerated.jajwyatt wrote:Was talking to a tyre fitter after laser wheel alignment and he said they angle the front tyres inwards by about 10 degrees as a matter of course which may account for the fronts on most getting worn on the inside.
